Stay away from wedding planning blunders!
Marriage is once in a lifetime experience. Since you do not want
to make mistakes on the most important day of your life, it is
important to understand the various blunders which can be possibly
made with regard to wedding planning. So here is a list of blunders
which you should be aware of and make sure that these do not happen
with you when you are planning your marriage.
The most obvious blunder made is making mistakes with the
wedding invitations. You might be thinking how we can ever go wrong
with the wedding invitations. But you might be proven wrong. Some
most common errors include forgetting to put the RSVP date, putting
the wrong wedding date, forgetting to put the reception date, wrong
names, wrong addresses and worse still, wrong postages on the
wedding card! These can have disastrous effects if you have guests
pouring in the wrong day!
Quite a hopeful blunder can be buying a wedding dress a size
smaller just in the hope of losing weight! Maybe you will work out,
keep a check on what you eat and do whatever it takes to lose
weight before the day. However, do not forget that marriage means
more parties with friends and family, checking on menu items,
tasting wedding cakes and end up eating more than you should be. It
is always better to buy the right size of dress than being too
hopeful about losing weight.
Another not so obvious blunder is not trying out your wedding
hairstyle until your wedding day. Trying out a new hairstyle on
your wedding day can lead to problematic situation. Make sure you
are not persuaded by your hair stylist to try that new hairdo on
your wedding day itself. To have the perfect hairdo can be quite a
daunting task for you as well as your hairdresser. So it is always
advisable to take your veil and headpieces to the hairdresser well
ahead in time and try out various hairstyles while you have time to
experiment. Once you find the correct hairstyle, take photographs
and bring the photographs on the wedding day so that it is easier
for you as well as your hairdresser to get that perfect look on
your wedding day.
Another blunder often committed is throwing away the wedding
flowers and extra food. The less fortunate could always do with a
little help from you if you could donate the flowers to a homeless
shelter or an old age home. These flowers would bring a smile to
their faces. Even the extra food could be donated to homeless
people or beggars on the street. Though this blunder would not ruin
your wedding, however in case you don’t do this, you are stopping
yourself from making someone else’s day. So stay away from these
blunders and make your wedding even more enjoyable!
